What a bummer.

The females of Jenworld love candy, chocolate in particular. We all have our favorites for each season and Easter is no exception. One that we particularly like is Cadbury's Mini Eggs. How can you go wrong with milk chocolate covered with a candy shell? It's like M&Ms, but just a little different.

This year, Cadbury's introduced DARK chocolate Mini Eggs. (Or maybe they've been around and we're just now noticing.) I was so damn excited when I heard and couldn't wait to try them.

Alas, my excitement turned to disgust after one bite. The chocolate was cheap (after all, Hershey's is the American distributor) and was oily. I can't describe it any better than that. They tasted like ass, plain and simple. Yuck.

Has anyone else tried them?

I haven't tried the dark chocolate ones yet and now I probably won't!

When I went to London I brought back REAL Cadbury chocolate and caramels....soooo good!

Ohh that stinks! I was excited about the dark chocolate ones. Cadbury mini eggs are my fave. Cadbury creme eggs a close second.

Incredibly, I've never been a big Cadbury fan. I KNOW! Good thing the Tar-zhay's full of interesting chocolate brands we still need to test.

Initial report: Choxies are really good.

Those mini eggs always make me feel ill. But my favorite Easter candy of all is the creme eggs!

Candy season (Oct. thru April) is almost over! Hallelujah!!!

Don't get me wrong, I heart candy, however, my ass and hips don't . . . .

Well, I'm not going to try them now!!
(not that I would have anyways, dark chocolate isn't my thing!!)

I haven't. I have so many weaknesses, but candy isn't one. Bread and butter? Big problem.

I'm thinking a shipment is due from your friend to the North. They do not taste like crap up here and are made by Cadbury.
I already planned to send some Kinder Easter "baskets", so I will include the request for "dark" chocolate eggs.
Any ketchup chips needed?

I've never had them, but I do enjoy a yearly Cadbury creme egg or four, around Easter.

I, too, just want to know how you know what ass tastes like. Ok actually maybe I don't want to know but... I am not a dark chocolate fan anyway so I guess I am safe from the taste of ass.

Cadbury in America and Cadbury in the UK are totally different. You need to stock up and ship back BIG TIME when you go to England.

OH and try Foods of All Nations for the "real stuff" but check the labels first, to make sure they aren't sneaking filth in on you.

Soooooooo.... that's what ass tastes like, huh? Interesting. I could have lived out my life without knowing that, but thanks for sharing, LOL!
