Weeeeee are the champions, my friends....

Today I've had Queen (the group) on my mind, which is odd, because I don't normally listen to them, nor am I very conversant about their body of work. But there was one song stuck in my head, playing over and over.

I didn't say anything to Pete about this, but I'll be damned if he didn't just turn on the stereo and put in the very CD I was thinking of.

Eery.

The Princess's pre-school used the music of Queen as the theme for their graduation last June. Everytime I hear that song now, I can hear 30 3-5 year-olds singing "no time for losers...'cause we are the champions...of the WORLD!!!!"

Very eery. Indeed.

"We Are the Champions" was our high school graduation recessional. The processional was the theme from "Star Wars." Hey, it was 1978.

Men are creepy like that. It kind of bugs me when hubby does that.

So, did listening to the actual music help get rid of the ear worm?

Bunny, no, in fact it's now worse. Now Elegant has "Bicycle" stuck in her head.
