Pay it forward -- the results

The Pay it Forward results are in!

Most people would have just done the drawing and announced the results. Some people might even have taken photos of the process. Here in Jenworld, however, in order to prove the absolute randomness of our drawing, we recorded it for everyone's benefit.

Check it out:

(Why yes I do hate how my voice sounds, because I really don't think that's what I sound like in real life. Plus I'm not usually so, um, jolly.)

Congratulations Traci Anne, Lisa, and Josie!!!!

(You would not believe how much Elegant loves watching this video, which she has done about five times so far...)

Your have a lovely assistant (and a great voice!)
And for the record...I may not enjoy chocolate all that much, but I do enjoy an M&M once in a while!

Regarding your comment about school buses: I've tried calling the bus garage about issues too and have gotten nowhere. You're lucky if the person who answers the phone has the capacity to speak and understand complete sentences. My high schoolers had a driver who would talk on her cell phone while driving, and one day, she pulled the bus over to the curb, while on her phone, burst out crying, got off the bus, and a person who was in a car nearby--her friend, presumably, got on the bus and finished the route for her! My children recognized the friend as someone who would often ride the bus and talk to the driver, but we're all unsure if she is really employed by the city public schools. It does appear that that driver was fired. At least, she's not on my kids' bus anymore.

ROFL I absolutely hate the sound of my voice too and SWEAR *that* is NOT what I SOUND LIKE when ever someone manages to catch me.

School bus issues?? You have to talk to the transportation director of your school district. The bus barn people don't give much of a hoot about what parents tell them but when it comes from the people who sign the big check to them every month, they listen. I had a whole post on getting something dealt with that other parents had no luck with. It got taken care of in one day after I made a few comments about it at a district council meeting. I am sure being president of one of the schools councils helped a little but I also think the fact that it went from the supervisor I talked to right to the transportation director is what got the issue dealt with.
