What is she planning?

I just found the following list on the front of our fridge, written by Graceful:

Essential Gear For GB

Swiss army knife
rope and twine
bungee cord
Compass
safety pins
duct tape

Is she planning a life of crime? Or perhaps spy training? Some sort of evil plan for her sister?

Tee hee, let's hope she's planning a backyard camping trip or something...

Hopefully no crime is involved. LOL. Too funny.

Well, either:

She wants to join my Brownie unit and is truly planning to Be Prepared, or,

she plans to search for the Golden Compass.

Hey!
did she get The Daring Book For Girls for Christmas?
I'm pretty sure I read that list in my niece's book the other day.

Bb: I did a bit of research last night (ie. asked Pete if he knew what in the hell G was thinking) and it turns out the list did come from that book. I haven't actually read it myself, but plan to do so to see what the book is advocating. I mean, come on, rope AND twine? Duct tape?

And she is, after all, the daughter of Tigger's kidnapper...

Did she possibly get the Daring Book for Girls this Christmas? Oh, I just saw Blackbird wrote that. Mr. T got the Dangerous Book for boys and there are a few chapters requiring that list. PLEASE post the follow up to this! I'm SOOOOO curious!

I thought maybe she was MacGyver or something.

Hopefully its not for her sister :)

I was just about to mention how she has a mother who kidnapped Tigger, so she's merely following in your footsteps!!

That Daring Girls book is really cute, we got the Daring Boys one for Dave's nephew when he's older.

The duct tape is what has me wondering, lol. I grew up camping and still do.. and not once ever needed duct tape. Everything else, definitely on a camping or outdoor adventure list. And I suppose you *could* ostensibly find a use for duct tape.

Bungee cord? The list has me baffled...

That sounds like 1/10th of my list for Girl Scout camping trips... I was, indeed, prepared. :)

Oh yes, and you can use duct tape to patch your tent if it leaks. FYI :)
