Sunday - not a day of rest

One would think that, after the insane Friday and Saturday I had, Sunday would have been a day of rest. Instead, we hit the road and drove an hour to my brother's, sister-in-law's, and nephew's house. My brother was working, so we didn't see him at all. The two Graces spent the afternoon at a baking class, working on holiday cookies. We took Elegant and the boy to a nearby children's museum for a couple of hours:

Micah likes his cousin's hair.

The boy is ALL OVER the place now. Crawling, pulling up, cruising. Checking out anything and everything. Bonking his face and head often, but not slowing down one bit.

We left the children's museum and walked next door to the science museum, which is in a gorgeous old train station. The boy was tired, so very tired, but fought sleep. Ultimately he was no match, no match at all, for being rocked by a Rocking Pro. He and I sat in the lobby of the gorgeous old train station and, while I quietly sang Christmas carols and rocked the boy, he gazed at the enormous Christmas tree until he fell asleep.

I took naps in the car going over and coming back. I'm going to bed early tonight.

Sounds like an awesome day! Love the pictures, too. Do you give Rocking Pro lessons . . .I could use some:)

As much as you deserved a day off, that sounded like such fun, especially for the kidlets.

Lovely pix.

Such sweet babies....your big ones too! Aren't other people's babies great? The ones you can give back?
