Feel free to hate me

Since it's Monday and I'm feeling all perky and happy about stepping on the scales this morning, I'm also going to take a moment to gloat over the BEST WEEKEND EVAH:
  • No soccer, no riding lessons, no major obligations -- just one gymnastics class and one playdate (not at our house).
  • No chores, no errands -- only a few minor things and one fun trip to Tar-zhay.
  • No major dramas of any sort -- just peace and harmony in Jenworld and our surrounding environs.
  • Pete grilled salmon on Saturday and I savored my tiny portion as if it were the nectar of the gods.
  • I went on hour-long walks ALONE on both Saturday and Sunday.
  • After my walk on Sunday, I took a nice shower and then put on pajamas for the rest of the day.
  • I finished knitting a blanket for one nephew's Christmas present and started a quickie scarf for my niece.
  • I started an interesting book.
  • I took TWO naps.

Oh, and we only have two days of school this week and then the long, long holiday weekend. {Woot!}

Am I alone or did any of you have terrific weekends too?

I don't actually HATE you...

My weekend:
*Boy came down with ear infection Fri evening, put on antibiotics.
*Girl had tennis Sat am, Husband took her and Boy, and I had a long bath.
*In-laws pulled out of coming over as father in law was ill. We went out to lunch anyway, kids behaved, went to M&S for jammies and Borders for books
*Girl went to swimming, found she has moved up a group and will be swimming Mon evenings from next month, which makes Mondays crazy but does give us back our Sunday mornings.
*Girl came down with ear infection too, on Sun evening. First time they've ever both had one at the same time.
*Girl off school today as a result, me off work to look after her. This is good as I managed to tidy Boy's room, run the washing machine and dishwasher, sweep and mop the floors and clean the hob.
*Husband falls up (up!) some steps at work, smashes glasses, head wound, black eye, grazed nose. He has a job interview tomorrow and looks like he came off worse in a fight. At least he will be memorable!

Oh, I love the idea of taking a bath after a walk and then spending the rest of the day in PJ's! What a great weekend you had!

Thanks for asking!

The girls are away at college and the boys were gone most of the weekend. I cleaned out their closets and got rid of old clothes and junk they'll never miss.

It made me happy. I wore my jammies all day Saturday and took a long nap yesterday after church.

BTW, WW Online rocks. A few years back I lost 25 lbs. Works much better for me than meetings. I so am not a meeting person.

Yeah, and because I'm a total dumbass, I accidentally rejected Lela's comment when I meant to say, "Hell yes I want everyone to know what she said." So here it is:

"Wow, great weekend! I dyed my hair and went to my stamp club to make cards, lol. So I guess I had it pretty good too."

May I say:

I'm happy for you though.

I had a very nice weekend, thank you. I went to see a move and read half of a novel. But I didn't get to spend Sunday in pajamas. I had to get dressed.

I'd give you one of my children for the chance to take two naps! Just joking...sort of...! We had a fabulous weekend too...saw
"Ho-Ho" as he's known in our house at the parade, and I got ALL that laundry clean, folded and put away, which made me feel very competent and almost grown-up. Glad you had a fab oue too...and have a happy Turkey day!

Not as terrific as yours! Still, we had our last two soccer games of the season, capped off by a fun pizza party. No more chilly Saturday mornings at the soccer field!

P.S. Pajamas, in the daytime? (Unless it was a nighttime walk.) YOU GO, GIRL! It's always my goal on the weekend to stay in pajamas until noon. Rarely happens.

Nice weekend when you do not have to run around town doing "mummy" things.

And have Granny Naps.
