No wonder some people homeschool

This is just messed up. If anyone ever tried that with one of my girls, his balls would be soon found hanging from the nearest telephone wire.

Well actually Jen I would be surprised if you left them intact enough to hang from anywhere... let alone the telephone wires, lol. I will tell you a quick story in a nutshell I read that someone wrote about why they chose to home school; I came across this on a forum while I was homeschooling my daughter when she was in 4th grade (long story in itself) anyway, this one mom decided to home school after having lunch with one of her kids, who was in 2nd grade at the time, because during lunch, the kids were... gasp PLAYING WITH THEIR FOOD by STICKING CARROT STICKS IN THEIR NOSES! Heaven forbid... can you imagine?? 2nd graders playing with food. She decided it was just *not the atmosphere she wanted her God fearing kids to be in.* gimme a break. They were fucking CARROT STICKS. What did she THINK a bunch of 7 yr olds were going to do with them... eat them?

First time I told my parents the 10th grade Biology teacher wanted to give "private lessons". Mom shrugged and said "Of course he did. Why else would he offer to drive you home? Just don't let him corner you again." That was it. Second time I told 11th grade Chemistry teacher "No I will not sit on your lap and give you a shoulder massage and neither will any of the other girls in this class. I avoided getting felt up but got detention for causing a disturbance. He "retired early" the next year when a younger girl's parents complained. I got to give a written statement to the vice principal for girls. It was all very hush hush. You better believe it's under reported. You'd also better believe my daughter is going to get more support than "just avoid him" from me.

Ugh. Stories like that freak me out. I've tried to teach my kids things that I think will help to keep them safe from this kind of stuff, but you never know. Ugh.

Creepy teachers - I wonder if you have read about the tennis coach in the UK who was infatuated with a 13 year old she was coaching. Even after the girl's mother found out that her daughter had been molested by the coach, she allowed the coaching to continue for another ten months - she had to finish the term. What is that?

There would be many body parts rolling if it were any of my kids. We had a case in Seattle last year where a high school girl got raped in a bathrooma and the school officials didn't report it when the girl told them about it. Now the school is under investigation by the school district amongst other agencies.
