Half an hour later...

There's something ominous about the silence that occurs after a screaming, kicking, flailing six-year-old has been carried to her bedroom and dumped on her bed and told not to come out until she's calm. After which, the Sherpa parent closes the door and walks off. Crashing sounds ensue from within, but neither the Sherpa parent nor the the Plumber parent chooses to investigate, as they have three bathrooms that need toilets to be put back in place and dirt to clean up from the visit from the Floor Fairies. But now it's 30 minutes later and it's v-e-r-y quiet in the six-year-old's room. Presumably, she hasn't climbed out of her window using knotted sheets and blankets.
